'THE PAGODA REMEMBERS'
Placing dance and storytelling front and centre,
this piece written for the Emerz Collective with dancers from the Northern Ballet School loosely follows the Legend of the White Snake - a tale of love, loyalty and drama - in three scenes, connected by a cello solo, each relating to a different character's troubles of the heart.
'THREE DANCES FROM ANOTHER WORLD'
Commissioned by Berkshire Chamber Music Festival, this piece for clarinet and percussion imagines how inhabitants of imaginary planets might dance.
